Frequently Asked Questions

No, this tooth powder whitens teeth without sensitivity because it doesn’t contain any of the harsh chemicals or peroxides found in commercial whitening agents.

Yes! The whitening tooth powder remineralizes AND whitens!

It contains the same remineralizing agents as the remineralizing tooth powder but it also contains baking soda, mineral-rich salts, and activated charcoal to naturally whiten, polish and strengthen your teeth.

The Whitening and Remineralizing Tooth powder is mint flavored and contains the essential oils of wintergreen and peppermint.

Some people find that the minty flavor is too intense. For those that are sensitive to mint we recommend the kids tooth powder which has a more mild citrus flavor that’s great for kids and adults!

This toothpowder is made from hydroxyapatite, which is also what your teeth are made of.

When you brush with the tooth powder it naturally removes plaque and stains.

After brushing you don’t rinse and you let the powder remain on your teeth. This gives you teeth a chance to absorb minerals that may have been lost from the tooth powder. Your healing your teeth by given them the minerals they need!

One jar will usually last about 200 brushes, which for most people is about 3 months.

You get your brush slightly wet, tap it into the powder. Brush your teeth thoroughly as you normally would. Once you’re finished brushing you, you can spit out the excess but don’t rinse. Simply leave the powder on your teeth and it will continue to to remineralize your teeth after you finish brushing.

Yes, toothpowder is safe to swallow. Some people may get a slight upset stomach if they swallow large amounts of it, but a small amount doesn’t cause any problems.

Yes! This toothpowder is 100% safe during pregnancy.

Yes! This toothpowder is safe to use with crowns, veneers, or any type of dental restoration.

After brushing your teeth with the tooth powder, wait 3-5 minutes before rinsing with the mouthrinse. It also has hydroxyapatite so it will just add to the benefit.

This is a mineral complex that your tooth enamel is made of. It can help rem i neralize (or replace minerals) in teeth, but is also good for gum health. Research shows it to:

  1. Better than fluoride for remineralization, reducing sensitivity and whitening of teeth.
  2. Prevents demineralization in teeth, which can reduce cavity formation.
  3. Comparable to Chlorhexidine (the standard rinse for gum disease) in reducing the sticky plaque (biofilm) on teeth
  4. Creates a protective layer on the tooth that prevents bacteria from sticking.

Silver nano particles provide multiple benefits in this formula.

  1. They help increase the remineralization effect of the Hydroxyapatite because they help the minerals get into the biofilm on the teeth where they can then get into the tooth.
  2. They decrease the acidity in the biofilm and reduce the chance for tooth decay.
  3. They are extremely effective antimicrobials and have been shown to be comparable to the industry gold standard of Chlorhexidine in treating gum disease, however in much lower concentrations and without the cytotoxic side effects of chlorhexidine.
  4. They can help reduce inflammation and reduce healing time around dental surgical sites.
  1.  Xylitol can not be consumed by bacteria, so it does not act as a food source. The bacteria can not thrive in the presence of xylitol.
  2. It acts as a saliva stimulant for dry mouth and helps deliver minerals to the teeth.
  3. It can prevent tooth decay and help remineralize early cavities.
