After 15 years of practicing traditional dentistry, Dr. Cornelius was diagnosed with extreme levels of mercury poisoning from years of removing mercury fillings from his patients. This began a journey of questioning everything that he had learned in dental school and continuing education over the years. Separately, his wife was on her own journey with health issues and had found Functional Medicine to be the healing that she had sought after for years in the traditional medicine world to no avail. Together, they "jumped off the deep end" into exploring, understanding, and implementing the most holistic lifestyle possible. This immediately overflowed into Dr. Cornelius' practice. As you will often hear him quote, "I can't unlearn what I have now learned on my hunt for truth and understanding of the human body". He is a wealth of information and loves sharing what he has learned on his journey with his family, friends, team, and patients.
