Kids Tooth Powder (Fresh Citrus)

My daughter had 2 cavities in August. Together with our pediatric dentist, we decided to keep an eye on them. We started using Dr. Michelle’s kids tooth powder in mid-October. At her next checkup, our wonderful dentist noted her teeth looked great!

Here’s what’s inside (and why it matters):

  • Calcium Carbonate – A gentle mineral that helps polish teeth while supporting natural remineralization.
  • Hydroxyapatite – The same mineral teeth are made of, included to help rebuild enamel strength.
  • Citrus Peel Powder & Oil – Adds a refreshing, kid-approved flavor and supports a clean, healthy mouth.
  • Xylitol – Naturally sweetens while helping discourage cavity-causing bacteria.
  • Bentonite Clay – A mineral-rich clay that helps balance the mouth’s environment.
  • Plantain Leaf Extract – Traditionally used to calm gums and support everyday comfort.

And what’s not inside? 🚫 Fluoride, SLS, artificial dyes, preservatives, or animal products.

Because keeping kids healthy should never come with hidden trade-offs.

The tooth powder has been a great addition to my daughter’s routine. She had some discoloration on her front baby teeth, and after a few weeks of using the powder, we thought they looked a lot better. She loves the taste, and I like that it stays on the teeth after brushing.

Kelsie (Landon and Tanner)

My sons say: I like the powder better than the squeeze because it makes my teeth feel super clean. And it’s easier to get out than squeeze tubes and less messy! I like the citrus taste and we highly recommend it!

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Fresh Citrus (Kids) Tooth Powder help remineralize teeth?

Our kids’ tooth powder contains the same remineralizing ingredients as our standard formula. The only difference is that it’s infused with a gentle, kid-friendly citrus flavor instead of minty essential oils—making it a great choice for little ones’ daily brushing routine.

What flavor is the Tooth Powder?

The Fresh Citrus Tooth Powder has a light, refreshing orange flavor that kids love! It’s made with natural citrus peel powder and oil, offering a pleasant taste without any artificial additives or sweeteners.

How does this Tooth Powder help my teeth?

This toothpowder is made from hydroxyapatite, which is also what your teeth are made of.  When you brush with the tooth powder it may help remove plaque and stains.

After brushing you don’t rinse and you let the powder remain on your teeth. This gives your teeth a chance to absorb minerals. You’re supporting the natural care of your teeth by giving them the minerals they need!

How long does one jar of Tooth Powder last?

One jar will usually last about 200 brushes, which for most people is about 3 months.

How do I use Tooth Powder?

You get your brush slightly wet, tap it into the powder. Brush your teeth thoroughly as you normally would. Once you’re finished brushing you, you can spit out the excess but don’t rinse. Simply leave the powder on your teeth. This allows more time for the ingredients to support natural enamel remineralization.

Is the Tooth Powder safe to swallow?

Yes, it’s made from food-grade ingredients and is not intended to be swallowed, though small amounts left after brushing are generally considered safe. As with any oral care product, avoid swallowing large amounts.

Is this Tooth Powder safe to use during pregnancy?

While our ingredients are generally recognized as safe, we always recommend consulting your healthcare provider if pregnant or nursing.

Is this Tooth Powder safe to use with crowns and veneers?

Yes! This tooth powder is gentle and suitable for use with crowns, veneers, or any type of dental restoration.

How often should I use Tooth Powder?

We recommend brushing at least twice a day, morning and night. But, if you want to more frequently that’s great!

What is the percentage of hydroxyapatite in the Tooth Powder?

The tooth powder contains 15% hydroxyapatite.

How much Tooth Powder is in each container?

There are 2 oz. of tooth powder per container.

Great taste, just right amount of abrasion. Doesn't make our teeth sensitive like Earthley's tooth powder.
