Product Details

The same peroxide-free gel from your kit, ready for your next 10-day course.

No whitening is permanent. Coffee, tea, wine, and everyday life slowly bring color back, so most people repeat a course every couple of months. The refill gives you the full 10 days of gel without buying trays you already own.

The gel uses PAP (phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid), a peroxide-free whitening active with the same oxidizing action as professional bleaching gels, minus the free radicals that rough up enamel. It is paired with hydroxyapatite, the same mineral your enamel is made of, so your teeth are receiving minerals during the very session that whitens them.

What It Helps Support:

  • Visibly whiter teeth over a 10-day routine
  • A brighter smile, even after years of coffee, tea, and wine
  • Enamel mineral replenishment during whitening
  • A comfortable whitening experience without peroxide
  • Keeping your smile bright, course after course

Clean, Dentist-Developed Formula:

  • No hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide
  • No fluoride, alcohol, or artificial dyes (the gel is clear)
  • Vegan and cruelty-free
  • Made in Sweden in an ISO-certified facility
  • No LED light, because the research does not support them

Who It's For:

  • Anyone who has finished an Enamel-Safe Whitening Kit and wants to repeat the course
  • People whose results have started to fade after a couple of months
  • Anyone who keeps their trays in the box and only needs more gel
  • Living Well customers who whiten a few times a year on top of their daily tooth powder routine

Each refill includes one 10 ml gel syringe (10 daily doses). Trays are not included; use the trays from your kit, or add a Tray Replacement Pack. Not intended for children under 12.

How to Use the Gel Refill

Three parts: check your trays, whiten for 10 days, then protect your results.

Step 1: Check your trays
Rinse the trays from your kit. If they still fit snugly, you are ready. If the fit has loosened, dip a tray in water heated to about 175°F for 10 to 15 seconds and remold it the same way you did the first time. Lost or damaged a tray? The Tray Replacement Pack has two new ones.

Step 2: Whiten (10 days)
Brush your teeth as usual. Squeeze a small line of gel into each tray along the side that faces the front of your teeth. The syringe is marked by day, so use one day's worth for both trays. Wear the trays for 60 to 90 minutes, then remove them, rinse your mouth with water, and rinse the trays. Repeat once a day for 10 days in a row for the clearest result.

Step 3: Protect your results
After each session, follow up with your hydroxyapatite tooth powder or toothpaste to keep replenishing minerals. For best results, use the refill alongside your daily remineralizing routine. Results are not permanent, so plan your next refill about every two months, or whenever your smile starts to lose its brightness.

Ingredients

Every ingredient in our Enamel-Safe Whitening Gel has a job: whiten, support enamel, or keep the gel stable and comfortable in the tray. No peroxide, no dyes, no fillers for the sake of fillers.

PAP (Phthalimidoperoxycaproic Acid) - Whitening • Enamel-Safe • Peroxide-Free
The whitening active. PAP whitens through the same oxidizing action as professional bleaching gels, but without forming free radicals, which is why PAP-based gels are consistently shown to whiten without the enamel softening and sensitivity associated with peroxide.

Hydroxyapatite - Remineralization • Enamel Support
The mineral your enamel is made of. Built into the gel so your teeth receive minerals during every whitening session instead of only afterward.

Glycerin, Propylene Glycol & Water - Gel Base
The smooth, clear base that carries the actives and keeps the gel comfortable in the tray.

Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Crosspolymer & Xanthan Gum - Texture
Thickeners that give the gel enough body to stay put in your trays for the full session.

Trisodium Citrate, Monosodium Citrate & Potassium Hydroxide - pH Balance
Keep the gel at a balanced, enamel-friendly pH throughout the session.

Menthol, Spearmint Leaf Oil, Limonene & Carvone - Fresh Taste
A mild mint flavor. Limonene and carvone are natural components of the spearmint oil.

Sodium Saccharin - Sweetness
A trace sweetener so the gel tastes pleasant without sugar.

C12-15 Pareth-5 - Blending
A mild emulsifier that keeps the formula uniform from the first dose to the tenth.

Piroctone Olamine - Freshness
A preservative that keeps the gel stable and fresh for the life of the syringe.

Free from peroxide, fluoride, alcohol, and artificial dyes. Vegan and cruelty-free. Made in Sweden.

Enamel-Safe Whitening Gel Refill by Living Well with Dr. Michelle: peroxide-free whitening gel syringe with hydroxyapatite, shown with the refill box

Enamel-Safe Whitening Gel Refill (Peroxide-Free + Hydroxyapatite)

The complete routine: whiten in 10 days, keep it every day. Enamel-Safe Whitening Kit for the 10-day reset, Gel Refill for your next course with the same trays, and daily hydroxyapatite Whitening Tooth Powder to keep teeth bright in between. Gel Refill and Whitening Tooth Powder sold separately.

Same Gel. Same Trays. Your Next 10 Days.

Results are not permanent, so a refill course every couple of months keeps your smile where you got it

The refill is the exact gel from your Enamel-Safe Whitening Kit: PAP to whiten without peroxide, and hydroxyapatite to put minerals back into your enamel while it works. Your custom-fit trays are built for 100+ uses, so all you need for the next course is the syringe.

  • Whitens Like a Professional Gel – PAP has the same oxidizing action as the gels dentists use, with no peroxide. Visibly whiter over 10 days, every time you repeat.
  • Comfortable to Repeat – No peroxide means no free radicals, so a course every couple of months stays as comfortable as the first.
  • Remineralizes as It Whitens – Hydroxyapatite, the mineral your enamel is made of, is in the gel itself. Each course feeds your enamel instead of stripping it.
  • Nothing to Re-Learn – Same syringe marked by day, same 60 to 90 minutes, same trays. The routine you already know.

Whiter teeth and stronger enamel, course after course.

Rinse Your Trays. Whiten for 10 Days. Done.

Everything you need to know before your next course

No shaping this time. Your trays are ready, the syringe is marked by day, and each session fits into an evening show or the time it takes to do the dishes.

  • Step 1: Check your trays – Rinse them. If the fit has loosened, dip a tray in hot water for 10 to 15 seconds and remold it. Takes under a minute.
  • Step 2: Brush, then fill – Brush as usual, then squeeze a small line of gel along the front of each tray. One day's mark on the syringe covers both trays.
  • Step 3: Wear for 60 to 90 minutes – Go about your evening. When the time is up, remove the trays, rinse your mouth with water, and rinse the trays.
  • Step 4: Repeat for 10 days in a row – Many people notice a change within the first few sessions, with the clearest result at day 10. Consecutive days work better than spreading them out.
  • After your course – Follow each session, and every day after, with your hydroxyapatite tooth powder. Plan your next refill about every two months, or whenever your smile starts to lose its brightness.

Good to know: the gel is not intended for children under 12, and no whitening gel changes the color of crowns, veneers, bonding, or fillings.

One refill is one complete course. Your trays are ready for the next one.

The 10-day routine: 10 days, 60 to 90 minutes a day. Brush as usual, fill each tray with one day's mark of gel, wear 60 to 90 minutes, repeat for 10 days in a row. Results are not permanent; repeat with a Gel Refill every couple of months using the same trays.

Created by a Dentist Who Wanted a Whitening Kit She Could Actually Recommend

When Dr. Michelle Jorgensen faced her own health challenges linked to traditional dental materials, she knew there had to be a better way. As both a dentist and a naturopath, she dedicated her career to uncovering safer, natural alternatives that protect oral health without exposing the body to unnecessary chemicals.

Whitening was the one category she kept saying no to. Peroxide gets teeth whiter, but she watched it leave patients with sensitive, porous enamel, and she would not put her name on that tradeoff.

This Enamel-Safe Whitening Gel is the gel she was waiting for: peroxide-free with hydroxyapatite built in, used in custom trays instead of one-size strips, no gimmick light, and no dyes. The same standards she holds for everything else in her line, finally applied to whitening.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same gel that comes in the Enamel-Safe Whitening Kit?

Yes. It is the identical peroxide-free gel: PAP for whitening, hydroxyapatite for enamel support, no fluoride, alcohol, or dyes, made in Sweden. Same 10 ml syringe marked for days 1 through 10, so one refill is one complete course.

The only difference is what is in the box. The kit includes two custom-fit trays and instructions. The refill is the syringe alone, for people who already have their trays.

Does the refill include trays?

No. The refill is the gel syringe only. It is designed for the custom-fit trays that came with your Enamel-Safe Whitening Kit, which are reusable 100 times or more.

If you have never used the kit, start there so you get your trays. If a tray has been lost or damaged, the Tray Replacement Pack has two new trays plus a pen applicator.

How is this different from whitening strips and peroxide kits?

Almost every whitening strip and kit on the shelf uses hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. Peroxide whitens by generating free radicals that open up the pores of your enamel, which is exactly why teeth get sensitive partway through a box of strips.

Our gel uses PAP instead. It is a peroxide-free whitening active that whitens through a different reaction, one that does not form free radicals. Studies comparing PAP gels to peroxide gels have found the PAP gels whiten while leaving the enamel surface and hardness intact.

We also add hydroxyapatite, the mineral your enamel is made of, directly to the gel. Peroxide kits do not do that. And we skip the LED light entirely, because the research does not support it.

Will this make my teeth sensitive?

It is designed not to. The sensitivity people get from whitening comes from peroxide opening the pores in enamel, and this gel contains no peroxide. PAP works through a reaction that does not produce free radicals, and clinical reports on PAP gels describe little to no sensitivity or gum irritation.

If you already have sensitive teeth, follow each session with your hydroxyapatite tooth powder or our Sensitive Remineralizing Tooth Powder. If you ever feel discomfort, stop and let us know.

How often should I repeat a whitening course?

No whitening is permanent. Coffee, tea, wine, and everyday life gradually bring color back, so most people repeat a 10-day course about every two months, or whenever their smile starts to lose its brightness. The gel is gentle enough that you do not need to wait longer than that.

In between courses, brushing daily with your hydroxyapatite tooth powder helps keep teeth bright and keeps minerals going back into your enamel.

How quickly will I see results, and how long do they last?

Most people notice a difference within the 10-day course, with the clearest change at the end of it. Whitening works best when you do all 10 days in a row rather than spreading them out.

No whitening is permanent. Coffee, tea, wine, and berries will gradually add new surface stains, so results typically hold for several weeks depending on your habits. Using your hydroxyapatite tooth powder daily helps keep teeth bright between courses, and a refill syringe lets you repeat the course about every two months using the same trays.

What if my trays do not fit right the first time?

You can reshape them. Dip the tray back into hot water for 10 to 15 seconds and mold it again. Most people get a snug fit on the first or second try. If you are molding the upper tray, make sure the No Flow lip at the back is sitting against your gum line so the gel stays sealed in.

The instruction sheet in your box has a QR code that opens a short tray-shaping video if you would rather watch than read.

Will it whiten crowns, veneers, bonding, or fillings?

No whitening product changes the color of dental restorations, including ours. The gel whitens natural tooth enamel only. If you have visible crowns, veneers, or bonding on your front teeth, those will stay the shade they are, so talk with your dentist about how a whitening course will look alongside them.

The gel is safe to use with restorations in your mouth. It simply will not change their color.

Is the gel fluoride-free? What is in it?

Yes, it is fluoride-free, peroxide-free, alcohol-free, and dye-free, and it is vegan. The two actives are PAP (for whitening) and hydroxyapatite (the mineral your enamel is made of). The rest of the formula is the gel base, thickeners that keep it in the tray, a pH buffer, a mild mint flavor from spearmint oil and menthol, and a preservative.

You can read the full ingredient list in the Ingredients tab above. We had the colorants removed from the original formula, so the gel is completely clear.

Who should not use the whitening kit?

The kit is not intended for children under 12. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your healthcare provider before whitening, as you would with any whitening product. Do not use it if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients, and keep it away from your eyes.

If you have active gum concerns, untreated cavities, or very worn enamel, talk with your dentist before starting any whitening course, including this one.

Can I use the whitening kit with my tooth powder and mouthwash?

Yes, and we recommend it. Brush with your hydroxyapatite tooth powder before each session so the trays sit on clean teeth, then follow the session with your normal remineralizing routine. The box says it directly: for best results, use alongside your daily remineralizing routine.

The whitening kit is a 10-day boost. The tooth powder is what keeps your teeth bright and strong every day in between.
