Renewal Dental Arts is a biological dental practice in San Antonio led by Dr. Karen Fraticelli and Dr. Juan Hernandez. Our office is dedicated to mercury-safe, biocompatible dentistry and a thoughtful, minimally invasive approach to oral care.
We prioritize the use of non-toxic, BPA-free materials and incorporate advanced technologies such as phase-contrast microscopy, ozone therapy, and laser support to enhance dental procedures and patient education. Dr. Karen Fraticelli earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) in Brooklyn, New York, where she received advanced training in comprehensive and hospital-based dentistry. She has completed additional continuing education in biological and biocompatible dental protocols, ozone therapy, laser dentistry, phase-contrast microscopy, and Invisalign orthodontics.
Dr. Juan Hernandez earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) in Brooklyn, New York. Following his residency at the same hospital, he completed a fellowship in Oral Implantology and Biomaterials, with focused training in surgical placement and restorative implant dentistry. He has also completed additional continuing education in biological and biocompatible dental protocols, ozone therapy, laser dentistry, and phase-contrast microscopy.
