Who doesn’t like ice cream??

I’m sure that many of you have tried to make homemade ice cream before using lots of different methods!

Usually it ends up really runny, or it doesn’t taste creamy like you want it to.

Those things have happened to me as well!

However, the last few weeks as we have celebrated birthdays and other holidays my family has been asking for ice cream! So, Sunday I decided to try making some natural ice cream that would actually taste good and be something my family enjoyed.

I decided that simple is better, and this 2 ingredient healthy banana ice cream recipe came to be!

It worked wonderfully with our great rhubarb dessert that night, and my family loved it! They told me how it tasted like “real” ice cream, and I told them it is real ice cream!

Real, whole foods are what taste best and what are best for our bodies!

Healthy Banana Ice Cream

This recipe is great for several reasons:

Ingredients

  • 8 Frozen Bananas (still pliable)
  • 1 Cup Coconut Milk

Directions

  1. Add frozen, pliable Bananas and coconut milk to a high powered blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, pausing to stir occasionally to get clumps out of the bottom.
  3. Add more coconut milk until you get the desired texture.
  4. It can be served right away or frozen for a later time in an airtight container. Enjoy!
