I love the tooth powder! I've been systematically swapping products to eliminate toxins, and when I came across this stuff, I was shocked! My teeth feel so clean, and they seem less sensitive than they were before using it. Highly recommend! I love being educated along the way about why some generic toothpastes may be less supportive of oral wellness.

FAQ

Does the Whitening Tooth Powder cause sensitivity?

No, this tooth powder whitens teeth gently because it doesn’t contain any of the harsh chemicals or peroxides found in commercial whitening agents.

Does the Whitening Tooth Powder also remineralize teeth?

Yes! The whitening tooth powder is formulated to support remineralization and help brighten teeth.

It contains the same remineralizing agents as the remineralizing tooth powder but it also contains baking soda, mineral-rich salts, and activated charcoal to help naturally polish and support strong teeth.

What flavor is the Tooth Powder?

The Whitening and Remineralizing Tooth powder is mint flavored and contains the essential oils of wintergreen and peppermint.

Some people find that the minty flavor is too intense. For those that are sensitive to mint we suggest the kids’ tooth powder which has a more mild citrus flavor that’s great for kids and adults!

How does this Tooth Powder help my teeth?

This toothpowder is made from hydroxyapatite, which is also what your teeth are made of.  When you brush with the tooth powder it may help remove plaque and stains.

After brushing you don’t rinse and you let the powder remain on your teeth. This gives your teeth a chance to absorb minerals. You’re supporting the natural care of your teeth by giving them the minerals they need!

How long does one jar of Tooth Powder last?

One jar will usually last about 200 brushes, which for most people is about 3 months.

How do I use Tooth Powder?

You get your brush slightly wet, tap it into the powder. Brush your teeth thoroughly as you normally would. Once you’re finished brushing you, you can spit out the excess but don’t rinse. Simply leave the powder on your teeth and it will continue to support the natural remineralization process after you finish brushing.

Is the Tooth Powder safe to swallow?

Yes, it’s made from food-grade ingredients and is not intended to be swallowed, though small amounts left after brushing are generally considered safe. As with any oral care product, avoid swallowing large amounts.

Is this Tooth Powder safe to use during pregnancy?

While our ingredients are generally recognized as safe, we always recommend consulting your healthcare provider if pregnant or nursing.

Is this Tooth Powder safe to use with crowns and veneers?

Yes! This tooth powder is gentle and suitable for use with crowns, veneers, or any type of dental restoration.

How often should I use Tooth Powder?

We recommend brushing at least twice a day, morning and night. But, if you want to more frequently that’s great!

What is the percentage of hydroxyapatite in the Tooth Powder?

The tooth powder contains 15% hydroxyapatite.

How much Tooth Powder is in each container?

There are 2 oz. of tooth powder per container.

At 64 years old, I had nearly ruined my teeth by using a hard bristle toothbrush for, probably, 55 of those years. My teeth had become dull and the enamel was worn down. When I heard about Dr Michelle and her Living Well tooth powder I was intrigued and began doing my homework on whether nano-hydroxy appetite really could repair tooth enamel. Once confirmed, I purchased the whitening powder and I noticed immediate results. My teeth are whiter and brighter. I struggled with the concept of not rinsing after brushing even while understanding the concept of leaving the hydroxy appetite on my teeth for the best results. The simple fix for me was to purchase the mouthwash and use that to rinse after brushing. Problem solved and I am absolutely thrilled with both products. I also feel so much better knowing I am no longer doing damage to my teeth and, in fact, working to repair the prior damage. The bonus? I am learning a great deal by watching Dr Michelle’s video’s. They are educational and informative. My next step is to find a local biological dentist so that I can continue my journey to fix all the bad stuff in my mouth. Thank you Dr Michelle!!!!
